I’ve always loved the idea of a real book café — shelves lined with novels, the scent of coffee and paper, and another world between pages. Life took a different path, but this is my small way of bringing that dream to life…through words, warmth, and a dash of imagination.
I’m Nicole Kimber, an Oregon-based author who’s been spinning yarns since I could hold a crayon. When I’m not crafting suspenseful literary fiction with a dash of romance (for that extra razzle-dazzle), you’ll find me either reading books from my favorite authors or chasing after my energetic kids who, incidentally, are my biggest inspiration.
Their unwavering belief in me became the proof that sometimes all we need is a little courage and support to overcome our darkest chapters-much like my protagonists. My narrative style brings characters to life, though I firmly deny using witchcraft to do so. I’m living proof that with enough coffee and kid-courage, anyone can turn their elementary school writing dreams into a full-fledged virtual book cafe.

I write at the pace my health allows, which means everything here is created with intention, heart, and the hope that my stories bring comfort to readers who may also be navigating difficult days. It’s also why I keep my books free…so anyone who’s resting, healing, or low on energy always has a place to escape, settle in, and feel less alone.
